Independent mayoral candidates Shah and Poudel get baton as election symbol



KATHMANDU: Balen Shah, the mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and Ganesh Poudel, the independent candidate for mayor of Pokhara Metropolitan City, have received the baton as election symbol.

Independent candidates Shah from Kathmandu and Poudel from Pokhara have been given the election symbol ‘baton’ by the Office of the Electoral Officer concerned.

The Offices of Electoral Officers have distributed election symbols to the candidates on Saturday.
