NEPSE witnesses bounce back, market rises by 40.68 points



KATHMANDU. The stock market, which has been declining continuously, has risen by 40.68 points on Wednesday.

At the same time, the NEPSE index has risen to 2568.25 points after the remarkable bounce back today. The transaction amount also increased by Rs 2.25 billion.

It was a green day for  all 13 sub-groups in the stock market.

Of the 232 companies listed on NEPSE today, 4,502,511 shares have been bought and sold at a price of Rs 2.25 billion.

Siddhartha Insurance had the highest turnover of Rs 112.7 million on this day.

The share price of 4 companies started a positive circuit. The share price of Emerging Nepal rose by 10 percent and the share price of Rashtra Utthan Microfinance, NESDO Samriddha Microfinance and Samling Power also rose by nearly 10 percent.

Shareholders of Unilever Nepal and Citizens Bank lost a lot today. Share prices of both the companies have declined by an average of 2 percent.
