No party has guts to contest polls on its own against UML: Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Oli has said that no political party has the courage to face the elections with the UML alone.

Speaking at a program organized in Bhaktapur on Wednesday, the UML Chair charged that the parties in the current five-party alliance lacked the courage to contest the elections without forming an alliance.

“It is unthinkable for others to vie with the UML on their own. It would have been easier if we were to contest the polls with our equals. How can we fight elections if everyone stands alone? Now, after they formed the alliance, we are more like equals,” he said.

Chairman Oli remarked that other parties were scared of seeing massive flow of people into the UML across the country.

“While other parties are getting empty as leaders and cadres are deserting them, our party is getting fuller with a wave of people joining us. This mass influx indicates UML victory in the upcoming elections,”  he added.
