Loktantrik Samajbadi Party’s CEC meeting underway in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting of Mahantha Thakur led Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) is underway at its central party office in Babarmahal.

According to leader Keshav Jha the meeting will dwell on the upcoming local level elections, party’s international organization and electoral alliance.

“The CEC meeting has been called for the first time following the establishment of the party. The meeting will dwell on the upcoming local level elections, and contemporary issues including electoral alliance,” he informed.

According to Jha, 28 central leaders will put forth their views in the meeting.

Earlier, leaders close to Rajendra Mahato had been criticizing party Chair Thakur of making the mockery of democracy.
