Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar “showing marginal improvement”



MUMBAI: Lata Mangeshkar, who was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, is getting better by the day, Indian media reports have said.

As per regular health updates from her team, the legendary singer is only getting better by the day.

The singing maestro was under observation in the ICU. However, as per the latest update, Lata Mangeshkar has been showing signs of marginal improvement.

She has been reportedly removed from ventilator support.

Lata Mangeshkar tested Covid positive on January 8. She was immediately taken to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for further treatment.

An ANI update on Lata Mangeshkar’s health reads, “Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar’s health condition has marginally improved. Her ventilator support was removed two days ago. She will continue to be under observation in ICU: Dr Pratit Samdani, Breach Candy Hospital (sic).”
