UML picks Dahal as parliamentary party leader in NA



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has picked Devendra Dahal as its parliamentary party leader in the National Assembly.

UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli nominated Dahal as the parliamentary party leader in line with the UML Federal Parliamentary Party Statute, 2077.

Earlier, Khim Lal Bhattarai was the parliamentary party leader of the UML in the National Assembly.

The post remained vacant after Bhatatrai tendered his resignation.

Before this, Dahal was the chief whip of the parliamentary party in the NA.
