Gandaki Province Assembly members taking oath today



POKHARA: Members of the Provincial Assembly of Gandaki are taking the oath of office and secrecy today.

The swearing-in will take place on Thursday afternoon.

Senior member of the Provincial Assembly Mitralal Basyal will administer the oath.

The 65-year-old Basyal of the CPN-UML party was elected from Provincial Assembly-2 of Parbat.

He was sworn in by State Chief Prithviman Gurung on Wednesday.

In the 60-member provincial assembly, Nepali Congress has 27 seats, CPN-UML 22, Maoist Center 8, RPP 2 and United Socialist one seat.
