KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has commented that the flag of the Rastriya Swatantra Party is similar to that of the Freedom Party of America.
While addressing the congratulatory and honor program organized by the Rastriya Janasanskritik Mahasangh in honor of UML chair Oli, who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, said that the flag and election symbol of the party led by Ravi Lamichhane is similar to the American party.
“Coincidentally, there is a Freedom Party in America,” he said, “Its symbol is a bell. They have also brought a right-sized bell here.”
The UML Chair speculated the hand of foreign forces in the sudden rise of Lamichhane’s party.
