KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its Secretariat to finalize the candidates for the November 20 elections.

The party is in the process of finalizing its candidates as the date of nomination for the election is approaching.

The meeting to be held at UML Chairman KP Oli’s private residence in Balkot will focus on the selection of first-past-the-post candidates for the Federal Parliament and State Assembly, and finalizing the election manifesto.

The party had called the meeting on Wednesday but was postponed citing a lack of homework.
