Landslides obstruct Tulsipur-Kapurkot road affecting transportation



TULSIPUR: The Tulsipur-Kapurkot road under the Rapti Highway has been obstructed by landslides at Sattale of Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City-3, affecting transportation.

Landslips occurred at three to four places today morning. Efforts are underway to remove debris, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushpa Raj Malla.

“The landslides still continue affecting debris removal. A dozer employed to the incident site has broken down and another one has been sent to clear the road. It takes time to remove debris.”

A police team from Kapurkot has been employed at the incident site.
