SC orders to conduct hearing on appointment of constitutional bodies officials and judicial council members at the same time



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court (SC) has issued an order to conduct hearing at once on the appointment of office-bearers of the constitutional bodies and judicial council members.

Responding to a writ petition, a divisional bench comprising acting Chief Justice Deepak Kumar Karki, Justices Hari Krishna Karki, Biswombhar Prasad Shrestha, Iswar Prasad Khatiwada and Ananda Mohan Bhattarai issued an order to conduct hearing over all the writ petitions regarding appointment of 52 officials of constitutional bodies and judicial council members.
