US Assistant Secretary of State Lu holding talks with PM Deuba today



KATHMANDU: US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu, who arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday, is scheduled to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today.

According to Baluwatar sources, he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Deuba at 3 pm.

He is also scheduled to meet Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka.

Lu previously visited Nepal last November before the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Nepal Compact was endorsed by Nepal’s House of Representatives.

This is his second visit in the last one year.

Lu visited Nepal on a two-day visit in November 2021.
