KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 9.38 billion for the promotion of tourism sector.

Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23 in the Federal Parliament on Sunday, Finance Minister Janardan Sharma informed that government has arranged for the money required for the promotion of tourism sector.

Minister Sharma mentioned that the government will help to boost tourism by promoting various tourist areas and religious tourism.
