LUMBINI: Lumbini Province Chief Amik Sherchan noted that guarantee of self-employment was imperative to further broaden acceptance and credibility of the republican constitution.
In a message delivered on the Republic Day-2079 BS today, he said true implementation of the constitution would be made possible when tens of thousands unemployed and most disadvantaged people were assured with self-employment opportunities within the country.
“National industrial development was a pre-condition for making the country sovereign and strengthening our national unity”, the message reads.
Province Chief Sherchan wished that may all of us work together to ensure good governance and sustainable peace in the country through three tiers of inclusive and proportional governance system by upholding the values of federal democratic republican system.
