Speaker Sapkota urges all to safeguard republic system



KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has said state’s office-bearers must have an utmost sense of responsibility to make citizens optimistic towards the changed political system.

In a message of best wishes on the occasion of the Republic Day today, the Speaker said all should pay attention to address the public aspirations related to the republic form of governance and give respect to all those who made sacrifices for the establishment of republic.

He also underscored the need for a robust national unity to fulfill the responsibility of ending all sorts of discrimination and suppression and create an environment for taking pride by all Nepalis towards federal democratic republic.

Speaker Sapkota also said that all changes made into the state mechanisms should be implemented so that the citizens of all layer and level would realise it.
