Three killed in Sindhuli jeep accident



SINDHULIMADHI: Three people have died in a Bolero jeep accident in the Sindhuli district.

According to District Police Office, Sindhuli, Tulsi Ram Pahadi, 45, Ramji Prasad Bhandari, 51, of Tinpatan rural municipality-9, Ambote and Rupa Magar, 30, of Kamalamai rural municipality-7, have died on the spot.

The accident occurred, when the ill-fated Bolero jeep, Bagmati Pradesh 01-026 Cha 0456, heading to Chakmake carrying passengers and some goods from Wangring, went out of control, said DSP Manoj Kumar Lama of DPO, Sindhuli.

The jeep had fallen some 100 meters from the rough inner road of Sindhuli, according to Lama.

Seven others sustained injuries in the accident. They are undergoing treatment at Belghari Health Post, said police.
