NC warns of expelling rebel candidates if candidacies not withdrawn



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) has directed the party’s rebel candidates to withdraw their candidacies in the local level elections.

The NC warned that if rebel candidacies are not withdrawn, the candidate along with candidacy backers would face expulsion from the party.

NC Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel, issuing a press release Friday, urged to withdraw the candidature between 10 am and 5 pm where ever rebel candidature against the party’s official candidate has been registered.
