Nepal has seen incredible changes: US Secretary of State



KATHMANDU: US Secretary of State, Anthony J. Blinken has said that Nepal has seen incredible changes in its governance, economic development, and international engagements in the last 75 years.

Giving a message on the 75th anniversary of the U.S.-Nepal diplomatic relationship, Secretary Blinken has said, “Today we mark 75 years of U.S.-Nepal diplomatic relations. Nepal has seen incredible changes in its governance, economic development, and international engagements.”

He has further stated, “We are proud of our accomplishments as partners, and look forward to many more decades of friendship.”

Meanwhile, the US Embassy in Kathmandu has said that 75 years of friendship means “uncountable memories and moments to cherish.”

“We take pride in the accomplishments that we have achieved together over generations and are committed to further bolstering the U.S.-Nepal partnership for generations to come,” the Embassy has said.
