Flights affected at TIA

KATHMANDU: The take-off and landing of airplanes operating domestic and international flights have been affected at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) due to low visibility on Tuesday.

The takeoff and landing of planes has been affected due to the low visibility since Monday, the Civil Aviation Authority at TIA said.

Spokesman at the Airport Teknath Sitoula said that takeoff and landing have been affected as Kathmandu’s weather is hazy since Monday morning. According to him, the takeoff and landing would be regular once the weather improves.
