Business Advisory Committee meeting called for Sunday



KATHMANDU: Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has called a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee for Sunday.

The call for the meeting follows continuous obstruction in the federal parliament session by the main opposition CPN-UML.

The meeting is scheduled at 11:00 am at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwor, said Speaker Sapkota’s press expert Shreedhar Neupane.

Similarly, a federal parliament meeting is also called for Sunday. Offering condolence to known and unknown martyrs on the occasion of the Martyr’s Day is the agenda for the parliament meeting, it has been said.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is also scheduled to table the third annual report of the Tharu Commission, 2020/21. Likewise, Speaker Sapkota is slated to offer his condolence to the late Jagat Bahadur Tajpuriya, who won a seat in the Constituent Assembly in 2064 from the proportional representation.
