APF clinches Aha! Rara Gold Cup title



KATHMANDU: Departmental team APF has won the title of 20th edition of Aha! Rara Gold Cup Football on Saturday.

APF won the title for the first time by defeating Manang Marshyangdi Club 5-4 on penalties in the final held at Pokhara Stadium  today.

The final match ended in a penalty shootout after the scheduled and extra time games ended in a 2-2 draw.

APF won the title by making history when Manang’s Olawale missed a penalty.

APF, which won the final, has bagged a prize of Rs 1 million along with the Vijay Trophy.
