Nepal sees two new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 13



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

All the confirmed two cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 769 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 385 were tested through RT-PCR method and 384 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 13 active cases in the country as five infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,019 to date.
