Youth should lead government: NC leader Rathor

BANKE: Nepali Congress (NC) assistant general secretary and newly-elected House of Representatives (HoR) Member from Banke-3, Kishore Singh Rathor, has said that leadership issue of the new government would be finalized only after holding consultations in the party.

At a program organized by Press Union Banke on his felicitation on Monday, leader Rathor said the current changes are youth-centric and the government should be formed under the leadership of youth.

He was of the view that NC general secretary duo Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwo Prakash Sharma should focus on making party organization robust instead of the government so that the NC could contest the upcoming polls without forging any alliance.

Likewise, Rathor said the left-democratic alliance was formed in the recently-held elections to safeguard the constitution and take the country’s leadership.

On the occasion, newly-elected Lumbini Province Assembly member Badshah Kurmi was also felicitated.
