Top leaders discuss government formation



KATHMANDU: Top leaders of the ruling coalition have initiated discussions to form a new government at the earliest.

Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, and Chairman of United Socialist Madhav Kumar Nepal held a discussion at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Monday.

Prime Minister’s Press Coordinator Govinda Pariyar informed that the three leaders engaged in what he said “serious discussion” on government formation.

“The leaders have agreed to call a meeting of the ruling coalition and give shape to the government formation,” he said.
