Euro slightly appreciates against the US dollar



KATHMANDU: Euro has slightly appreciated against the US dollar.

Lately, the value of the US dollar was on the continuous rise before it becomes stable.

As per the foreign currency exchange rate determined by Nepal Rastra Bank for today, the buying rate of one US Dollar is Rs 131.69 while the selling rate is Rs 132.29.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Euro is 132.18 while the selling price is 132.78.

On Thursday, too, Euro was stronger than the dollar.

Lately, the continuous increase in the value of the US Dollar had its implications in the domestic economy.

It has its negative impact on the nation’s economy which is largely based on imports.

However, it had positive impact on the income from remittances, tourism revenue and export trade.
