Nepal Bar submits 34-point letter as evidence to impeach suspended CJ Rana (With letter)



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Bar Association has submitted a 34-point letter as evidence to the Parliament’s impeachment recommendation committee to impeach the suspended Chief Justice Cholendra Shumsher Rana.

Nepal Bar President Gopalkrishna Ghimire and General Secretary Anjita Khanal handed over a letter with 34 points to the impeachment recommendation committee on Sunday, stating that the document would serve as proof against allegations made against the impeachment against Rana.

The letter states, “The documents, details, information and other evidences related to the impeachment charges confirming the impeachment motion under Article 101 of the Constitution of Nepal against Chief Justice Rana are attached herewith.”
