Floods obstruct Melamchi-Helambu road



SINDHUPALCHOWK: A section of the Melamchi-Helambu road has been blocked due to last night’s flood.

According to the Melamchi area police office, vehicles are finding it difficult to ply the road due to floods.

Locals of Helambu Rural Municipality and Ward No. 6 and 7 of Melamchi have been affected due to the obstruction of the road.

Aitaman Tamang, the chief of Melamchi Municipality, informed that the road will be operated by observing the flow of water.

Meanwhile, Dhap and surrounding areas have recorded heavy rainfall in the last six hours.
