Tanahun records death of 49 people in road accidents in one year



TANAHUN: At least 49 people died in road mishaps that occurred in Tanahun district during a year.

According to the District Traffic Police Office, 35 men, 12 women and two children lost their lives in road accidents occurred during the fiscal year 2021/22.

As many as 100 road accidents took place during the period.

Chief of Traffic Police Office, DSP Gokarna Nepal shared that 11 trucks, 17 buses, 14 jeeps and cars, 10 tractors, one three wheeler and a 47 motorbikes had met with road accidents in the district during the period.
