Five-party alliance will continue until next elections: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” has reiterated his position about continuing the current five-party ruling alliance until the upcoming parliamentary election.

Speaking at a meeting of the party’s Standing Committee held at the party headquarters, Paris Danda, Chairman Prachanda said the alliance will not break as rumored.

Prachanda, meanwhile, added that efforts are being made to bring like-minded Left parties together on the same platform.

According to Standing Committee member, Ram Karki, in Thursday’s meeting, Prachanda briefed the party leaders about contemporary politics and set the agenda for the meeting.

The Standing Committee meeting will continue on Friday.
