One dies stabbed in the chest while playing in a madrasa in Nepalgunj



BANKE: A student has died after being stabbed in the chest while playing at a Madarsa in Nepalgunj.

According to Banke Police Spokesperson DSP Mudhasudan Neupane, 16-year-old Jamudin Miya of Rupokot-6 died after being stabbed in the chest.

Miya, who was injured after being stabbed, was taken to Lucknow, India for treatment and died on May 27.

According to him, the incident took place on May 26 at 5 pm while the deceased Miya and 12-year-old Mohd. Aashiq were playing with each other. The knife in Aashiq’s hand planted on Miya’s chest. The incident was captured on CCTV in Mardasa.

The body of the deceased has been brought to Nepalgunj and kept at Bheri Hospital for postmortem.

DSP Neupane informed that investigation was underway to find out further details including how the knife reached at the student’s hand.
