Want to contribute to women empowerment: Miruna Magar

KATHMANDU: Miruna Magar, who has been living in London, is keenly interested in acting.

She thinks being a daughter of a theater artist a contributive factor in arousing the actor in her.

Miruna, who came to Nepal from London in 2016, gradually learned acting. After refining her skills from the Actor’s Studio, Miruna got an opportunity to work in drama called ‘Katha Desh 3.’

The beautiful smile of Miruan had already started increasing the number of fans on social media.

The films like Lalpurja, Rose, Saino, Cha Cha Hui further increased the numbers of fans.

However, the audience could not increase. She could not find success not only with actors like Saugat Malla and Bipin Karki but also with chocolate faces like Aryan Sigdel and Pradip Khadka.

After the failure of the films, the media even gave Miruna the tag of ‘Unlucky’ heroine.

However, this tag is now being removed by the media. Her latest film ‘Kabaddi 4: The Final Match’ is being screened.

The film has made a record on the first day. The film, which was released on Friday, is set to set a new record in the three-day trade.

In the film, Miruna has played the role of a teacher named Shanti. She presents herself as a young woman from a quiet and simple village.

“I wanted to play the role of a young woman from a rural area. I have played this kind of role in some films. The role I played in kabaddi is one of the things I like to do,” she said.

Sharing the screen for the second time with Saugat Malla and Dayahang Rai made her feel a little better.

“I was wondering if there would be a problem with these two stars as they leave no stone unturned to refine their role. However, the fear was almost eliminated while working with them,” said Miruna.

She said that she was able to play the role of Shanti  only with the help of the team.

Miruna is now on the path of ‘success. Her film ‘Jari’ directed by Upendra Subba is awaiting release.
