Nepal and Timor Leste facing each other Saturday



KATHMANDU: The Nepali national football team, which is preparing for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 selection, is competing against Timor Leste in a friendly match on Saturday.

The match at the Grand Hamad Stadium in Doha, Qatar will start at 9:45 pm Nepali time.

Nepal is going to play a friendly match with Timor Leste in preparation for the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers.

The Nepali team, which is in Qatar for closed training, is scheduled to play two friendly matches there. Nepal is facing Oman in the second friendly match on June 3.

The head coach of the Nepali team Abdullah Al Mutairi has announced the 23-member national team for the selection of the third round of the Asian Cup.

Nepal is in Group A along with Jordan, Indonesia and Kuwait.
