Province 1 CM Rai stresses implementation of republic



BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister of Province 1 Rajendra Kumar Rai has called for all to come together to implement republic achieved through people’s sacrifice and struggle.

He made this statement while distributing fruits to those taking a shelter in Purwanchal Bal Sewa Ashram (a children’s home) on the occasion of the 15th Republic Day today.

Through the establishment of republic, development activities have been moving ahead and economic prosperity and living standards of people have increased, he claimed.

He also pledged to manage monetary help for the Ashram through budget for the next fiscal year, 2022/23. The Ashram has been running on donations given by people from various walks of life, said the Ashram’s founding chair Sita Pokharel.

Established in 2044 BS, at present, the Ashram houses 80 children and elderly people.
