Municipal executive members elected in Tokha



KATHMANDU: The election to the members of municipal executive has been conducted in Tokha municipality.

Election Officer at Tokha municipality, Sabita Sharma told RSS that election was held in the municipality to pick eight members, including five women and three Dalit members.

Among the elected women members are Sunita Shrestha Pariyar Nepali, Sayara Pariyar, Jagatmaya Prajapati Maharjan, Leeladevi Adhikari and Shanta Rai.

Likewise, municipal executive members elected from Dalit and minority group are Bachhuraj Basyal, Sarita Ghale and Prem Kumar Sunuwar, Election Officer Sharma informed.

Certificates were distributed to the elected municipal executive members amidst a program on Friday.
