Chair Dahal urges cadres to adhere to alliance spirit

KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has urged the leaders and cadres to adhere to the spirit of alliance and act accordingly so that the candidates from the five-party alliance could secure victory.

Chairperson Prachanda said it while addressing candidates for chair/mayor and vice chair/deputy mayor posts on behalf of the alliance at Madhyapurthimi Municipality on Thursday.

He was of the view that the cadres and leaders of the political parties in the alliance must enforce the directive alliance.

Prachanda also held discussion with Madhyapurthimi Municipality mayor candidate Surendra Shrestha and deputy mayor candidate Bijay Krishna Shrestha.

The Maoist chair believed that the people would vote for the alliance candidates for the protection of democracy and constitution.

He further argued that the local level election would defeat regressive and status quo-ists forces.
