Unified Socialist and CPN (Unified) to be merged



KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) and CPN (Unified) are going to be merged.

Secretary of the Publicity Department of the CPN (Unified Socialist), Prakash Khatiwada, said that the Unified Socialist is going to unite with CPN (Unified) as per the policy of making the communist force stronger by uniting political parties, and organizations close to Unified Socialist in ideology and principle and to use the communist movement in favor of the country’s development.

The unification assembly between the two parties would be organized at the central office of the Unified Socialist on April 28 in presence of Unified Socialist Chair Madhav Kumar Nepal and CPN (Unified) Chair, Alok Rayamajhi.
