Nepal facing PNG in tri-T20 series today

KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Papua New Guinea (PNG) in the first match of the triangular twenty20 series today.

The match between Nepal and PNG will be held at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur at 12:30 pm.

Both Nepal and PNG have played twenty20 world cup matches for one time each.

While Nepal had played twenty20 world cup in 2014, PNG participated only in the last year’s edition.

PNG has not won any matches in the last six twenty20 matches. Out of the five matches, Nepal has won four and lost one match.

Nepal set a commendable track record in the twenty20 international cricket matches in the home ground.

Out of eight matches played at TU Cricket Ground, Nepal has won seven games.
