Suspicious object found outside parliament building defused

KATHMANDU: A suspicious object found near the gate of Federal Parliament building in New Baneshwor on Monday has been defused.

A bomb disposal team of the Nepali Army defused the pressure cooker, suspected to be a bomb, left outside the parliament building.

According to police, a pressure cooker with ‘No MCC’ written was found at 11 am.
