NHRC monitors bodies working on senior citizen’s rights: Chair Magar

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Tap Bahadur Thapamagar, has said NHRC was monitoring the agencies working in the sector of senior citizens’ rights.

“NHRC has been preparing a study report on how effectively the senior citizens were receiving State entitlements. The violation of senior citizens’ rights is also observed closely,” he informed.

Likewise, Secretary at the ministry, Dilliram Sharma, viewed, “Ministry was committed to protect and promote the rights of senior citizen with utmost coordination and cooperation.
