Finance Minister Paudel appointed government’s Spokesperson



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has been given the responsibility of government Spokesperson.

The Council of Ministers on Monday entrusted the responsibility of the government’s Spokesperson to Poudel.

Initially, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane was offered to take over the responsibility of the position, but it was given to Poaudel after Lamichhane did not accept the proposal.

However, Poudel has been given the responsibility of spokesperson only until the cabinet is expanded.

A minister who will be appointed as the Minister of Communication and Information Technology will be the government Spokesperson.
