NC’s Purna Tamang elected from Ramechhap



RAMECHHAP: Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Purna Bahadur Tamang (Kancharam) has been elected from Ramechhap.

Tamang has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives with 47,098 votes.

He defeated CPN-UML candidate Kailash Prasad Dhungel, who garnered 30,729 votes.

Tamang won by a margin of 16,369 votes.

Meanwhile, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Lal Bahadur Ghising secured 1,484 votes.
