PM Deuba inaugurating convention center in Butwal today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Sher Bahadur Deuba is to inaugurate an International Convention Center built at Butwal Mandap in Ramnagar of Butwal on Saturday.

A contract agreement was signed in 2071 BS to complete the construction of this conference center in Butwal in two phases, in view of the national and international conferences to be held in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.

Project head Dharmendra Panthi said that the construction of the center was completed before the additional deadline.

This conference center is connected with the East-West highway from Butwal and is built in the shape of the national flag of Nepal.

This auditorium has a capacity of holding 1000 people.
