KATHMANDU: The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country with chances of light to moderate rain at some places today, the Department of hydrology and Meteorology said.
There is possibility of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at some places of the hilly region and at a few places of the rest of the regions.
The Department said that the low pressure trough is located slightly south of the normal position in the west and it is in the normal position in the east.
The weather is partly to generally cloudy at present and light to moderate rain is taking place at some places of Province no 1, Madhes, Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. It will be partly to generally cloudy with the possibility of light to moderate rain along with thunder and lightning at some places tonight.
As per the weather update of the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was 20.1 degrees Celsius and the maximum 27.5 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.
