Nepali society turning away from ideology, faith: Prachanda



KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said Nepali society is deviating from ideology and faith.

Addressing an interaction and award ceremony jointly organized by Press Center Nepal and Jana Sanskritik Mahasangh Nepal in Kathmandu on the occasion of the 20th Memorial Day of Martyr Krishna Sen Ichchhuk on Friday, Chair Prachanda said the society was moving towards deviation.

He said that Nepali society was not moving forward based on ideology and faith. He added unhealthy competition in the society had increased for momentary, personal interests, among others.

He stressed focusing on new types of research, inventions and activisms to drive the society ahead in the right direction.
