Minor boy mauled to death by tiger



ARGHAKHANCHI: A seven-year-old boy has been mauled to death by a leopard in Arghakhanchi.

Samrat Nepali of Amaldanda of Sandhikharka municipality-4 was caught by a leopard from his house on Thursday evening.

The body of Nepali, who was attacked by a leopard, has been found mangled at a distance of about one km from his house.

The boy, who had come home from school at 4:30 pm, was snatched away by a leopard while walking towards his mother in a nearby field.

Local Umesh Adhikari informed that the leopard attacked him while he was going to eat peaches in the field.

A team from District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, including locals searched for the boy until late at night.

Chief of the District Police Office, Arghakhanchi, Amar Thapa said that the body of the boy has been found.
