KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has strongly objected to the Supreme Court’s order to halt the construction of Nijgadh International Airport.

Bhattarai also mentioned that he was ashamed of the court order to stop important projects in the country.

“When I announced the projects of national pride, I mentioned Kathmandu-Terai Fast track and Nijgadh Airport as number one and Budhigandaki hydropower project as number two,” he said.

Bhattarai has said that the apex court has dealt another blow inhibiting the development of the country.
