IME Life Insurance Company Limited holds 4th AGM



KATHMANDU: IME Life Insurance Company Limited held its 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday in Kathmandu.

The AGM endorsed the company’s financial report and operational committee’s report for the financial year 2076/077 BS.

Likewise, the meeting also elected a new operational committee.

The AGM also granted the authority to the operational committee to issue the shares allotted to the general public and to complete the task to merge with other life insurance companies.

Chairperson of the event Dr. Ram Hari Aryal said that despite the challenges and the lack of awareness on the issue of insurance, lack of skilled manpower and illiteracy regarding the insurance business, the company took all these hurdles as opportunities.

He added that the company is committed to dispatching insurance awareness to even the low-income strata of the country.

Dr. Aryal further said that the company is committed to making company’s services more accessible in the coming days.

He also expressed gratitude towards shareholders for their continued valuable counsel, insured customers for their trust in the company, and to the Nepal government, Insurance Committee, Company Registrar Office, Nepal Stock Exchange, all Insurance Companies, Re-Insurance Companies, various banking institutions and other stakeholders for their guidance.
