Nepal playing friendly match with Chonburi F.C. Sunday evening

KATHMANDU: The national football team of Nepal is taking on Chonburi F.C. today evening in an international friendly match in Thailand.

The match is taking place at 5:45 pm (Nepal time). Nepal is playing the match in its preparations for AFC Asian Cup qualifications. Earlier, the country conceded a 2-0 defeat to Thailand in its first match under the game.

Nepal has been placed in Group ‘A’ along with Kuwait, Indonesia and Jordan. The AFC qualification is taking place in Kuwait on June 8-14 for the Group ‘A’.
