Nepal facing Thailand in friendly match today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Chonburi Football Club (FC) in Thailand today.

The match between FC and Nepal will be held in Chonburi Province of Thailand at 4:45 pm (according to Nepali time). Earlier, Nepal had faced Thailand in a friendly match in which Nepal had faced a 2-0 run defeat.

Nepal had gone to Thailand to play a friendly match with Thailand under the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers. Nepal is placed under group ‘A’ in the Asian Cup Qualifiers alongside Kuwait, Indonesia and Jordan.

Similarly, the qualifiers matches are being held in Kuwait from June 8 t 14. Nepal will play a match with Jordan on June 8, with Kuwait on June 11 and take on Indonesia on June 14.
