President urges NRNs to utilize knowledge, skill and capital in Nepal



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has urged the non-resident Nepalis to utilize knowledge, skill and capital they earned abroad for the welfare of the home country.

She appreciated the role the Non-Resident Nepalis’ Association (NRNA) played for making Nepal visible in the internal arena with the promotion of its art and culture. President Bhandari said it while addressing the 10th global conference of NRNA on Saturday.

She stressed that NRNA’s assistance should be continued to the motherland as done during the crises as earthquake and COVID-19.

On the occasion, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand expressed belief that government was positive on NRNA’ role.
